Oh, and seeking God's best answers for all of life's questions. But that's the never-ending exam called life, now isn't it? Expertise: Well, I shot 31 out of 40 at the range, so I'm at least a Sharpshooter, but not an Expert yet. And um, I sorta know a lot of random facts, so maybe that's an expertise. And if I don't know, I'll act like I know, so maybe bullshit would make a third.

| ok, I'm in Iraq. Not going to blog really, but I will write to you or email you. To send mail, use the following: SPC Chamberlain PSYOP 40571 APO AE 09312-0571 Catch ya'll later. | | |
| ...at least for now. I stare at my blogs and friends networks and I feel exhausted by the thought of managing all of them. I don't have anything valuable to add to the conversation. I don't have time to keep up with it all. If you want to keep in touch, call me. I can't promise I've got much to tell.
No, I'm not in Iraq yet. No, I don't know when I'm leaving. No, I can't tell you where exactly I'm going, what my address will be, or what exactly I'll be doing. Don't ask. I'll tell you what I can when I find out. And don't bug my mom about it either. She'll tell you when I tell her.
But yeah, frustration aside, I think I'm done trying to keep up with all this online community stuff. I'll catch up when I get back. Until then, I'm just gonna focus on this deployment, and playing EVE-Online when I'm not working.

| Hey all,
Back from the desert of central California. That was quite a
month to remember. I think it'll be a long time before I complain
about a real bed. Anyway, life rolls on. Leave notes or
email or call me.
Later

| Hey all...
I'm gonna be going to some field training for the next month or
so. During that time, I may or may not have any means of regular
communication. I'm praying for ya'll, whether I can talk to you
or not. I'm not deployed yet, so don't start any nasty
rumors. I'll let ya'll know when I'm not in the US any more.
Later.

| Story:
Casting/Acting:
Visuals/Sound:
Political Undertones:
Synopsis: This movie is a great example of how a movie is more a reflection fo the times in which it is made than it is of the times it portrays. While we may indeed speculate that in 2027 the world will have gone to crap and humans will have stopped being able to reproduce, the maker of this film used this fascinating premise as an excuse to bombard his audience with strong yet veiled criticism of the current administrations of the US and Britain.
Instead of playing up what a miracle it would be if, after 18 years of worldwide infertility, a woman were to become pregnant, the film glossed over the story in favor of portraying the "evils" of deporting illegal immigrants and cracking down on homegrown terrorism. The makers purposefully made visual correlations between the behavior of the psuedo-fascist British government of the story and the unfortunate events that took place in Abu Graib prison. Additionally, the government soldiers, clad in digital camouflage and weilding high-tech weaponry, mercilessly gunned down surrendering insurgents and blasted apart the homes of innocent bystanders in their pursuit of insurgents. The camera lingered over the corpses of bystanders hit by government weapons, but never once focused on the fallen soldiers that were gunned down by the various rebel groups in the film. Lastly, there was arabic grafiti all over the sets, spelling out the word "intifada" or "uprising" (a term used by the anti-government forces in the movie), which happens to also be the same word used by the Palestinians for their frequent bursts of violence against the Israelis.
All of this aside, I actually do recommend the movie to anyone interested in the story. I simply wanted to write this little rant to raise awareness of the political opinions that underly the entire work. Too often filmmakers use their art to sublty influence the way the masses see current events. If movie-goers are not aware of this fact, they may begin to blindly demonize the actions of the patriots who are trying to preserve our way of life by making tough choices for a very tough time.
Enjoy.
